Feeling isolated ? Is society too impersonal? Do sexually transmitted diseases scare you so much that you’d rather curl up with your favorite electronic devices instead of another person ? Then welcome to 2072 where touch is illegal! In “The Return of Love”, join Professor Dipuc for a tongue-in-cheek look at love, sex and relationships in the not-too-distant future.

This is not just a play, but one that breaks the fourth wall for the audience. In The Return of Love, the audience member walks into a fictional university lecture hall set in the year 2072, and is to hear a presentation from a professor called, Doctor Dipuc. The audience/students are a huge part of the play as the actors interact, as a teacher would, and soon find themselves sitting beside someone who is trying to interrupt the professor as he talks about love, courtship, romance and sex.
Playwrights note: There is no coarse language or nudity, and the only suggestive scenes happen within one’s own imagination. The play also has a strong message regarding how our love has changed from the bliss of the 50′s/60′s to the catastrophic of the 21st century world leading us to a world without touch.

As this play does not have a “stage”, it may be performed in any setting, therefore allowing the actors to effortlessly connect with the audience.
